Support the Work

Donate

We do not do this work alone — we join with partners on many efforts and rely on your support to sustain us. Together, we protect the sustainability of the Northwest's wild fish heritage and all that they represent.

Your gift funds field kits, scale-sample analysis, and genetic analysis across the Northern Crown and field training for lodges and guides who turn time on the water into long-term scientific data.

Direct Your Gift

Give to a Specific River

Every river in the Northern Crown has its own science program. If a particular watershed has your heart, you can direct your gift there.

British Columbia

Babine River

Fund guide training, scale and DNA analysis, and sample kits on the Babine — one of BC's most productive wild steelhead rivers. Results are written up and communicated to the agencies and partners who can act on them.

California & Oregon

Klamath River

The largest dam removal in history has reopened the Klamath to wild steelhead. Angler science to track how the fish respond — from the estuary to the headwaters.

Give to the Klamath →

Washington

Olympic Peninsula

Fund snorkel surveys and redd counts on the Peninsula's wild steelhead rivers — tracking abundance, distribution, and spawn timing season by season to understand how these populations are faring.

Give to the Peninsula →

Kamchatka, Russia

Kamchatka Rivers

The Utkholok, Kvachina, and Snotalvayam rivers hold some of the last truly wild steelhead populations on earth. Your gift funds the anti-poaching protection that keeps them that way — ensuring thirty years of hard-won gains are never lost.
